How to watch the World Skateboarding Championships 2023

The 2023 world skateboard championships are underway. Starting on the 5th of February at the Aljada skate park in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates with the final and awards ceremony on Sunday the 12th of February, this week-long event gives each skater the chance to rack up points to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Here’s where you can watch the world skateboarding championships 2023 and the full schedule of events over the week.

The schedule is subject to updates, all times are in Gulf Standard Time (UTC +4).

Sunday 5 February

  • Open practice sessions, men and women – 09:00 – 20:35

Monday 6 February

  • Open practice sessions, men and women – 09:00 – 20:35

Tuesday 7 February

  • Open practice sessions, men and women – 09:00 – 20:35
  • Pre-seeded skaters practice – 20:40- 22:15

Wednesday 8 February

  • Women open qualifier – 09:00 – 17:55
  • Pre-seeded skaters practice – 18:00 – 19:35

Thursday 9 February

  • Men open qualifier – 09:00 – 20:55
  • Pre-seeded skaters practice – 21:00 – 22:35

Friday 10 February

  • Women quarterfinals – 10:40 – 14:55
  • Men quarterfinals – 16:40 – 20:55

Saturday 11 February

  • Women semi-finals – 15:00 – 17:45
  • Men semi-finals – 18:30 – 21:15

Sunday 12 February

  • Women finals – 17:10 – 17:55
  • Men finals – 18:25 – 19:10
  • Awards ceremony – 19:40 – 20:10

How to Watch the Street World skateboarding Championships 2023

Watch via the Olympic.com

Live coverage of the world park skateboarding championships will be available to watch on Saturday 11 February,  starting with the semi-finals. This is available on the Olympic Channel via Olympics.com without any geo-restrictions. You can also see the latest news and watch interviews on the site and on the Olympic app.

Watch via Redbull.com

Redbull is also streaming live coverage of the World skate championships street finals through their website and app. If you missed the action on the opening day, you can watch the full replay. Redbull will also be covering the final on Sunday 12th Feb, which you can watch live.

Watch via the Eurosport

Eurosport is a group of pay television networks in Europe and parts of Asia. Owned by Warner Bros. You can watch coverage of the event and live stream the final, but you will need a subscription, which is about £6.99 a month.
